About Our Team

Gina

Registered Dental Hygienist

Gina has 22 years of clinical hygiene experience ranging from pediatrics to treating advanced forms of periodontal disease. She has a special interest in the link between oral health and overall systemic health and keeps abreast of the latest advances in this field to help her patients achieve optimal health.

She loves building friendships with her patients and says, “I never tire of hearing children, grandchildren, and destination stories. I am always intrigued with the individual uniqueness each patient brings.”

Gina is married with two children, four grandchildren, and a dog which all keep her busy outside of dentistry.

Eliani

Chairside Assistant

Eliani is originally from Honduras and has been living in New Orleans for 34 years. She has over 25 years of dental assisting experience.

Eliani is very skilled at making sure her patients feel comfortable while assisting Dr. Delaune and says, “I enjoy helping patients get the smile they have always wanted.” She also loves being able to translate for our Spanish-speaking patients.

While not assisting Dr. Delaune, Eliani enjoys working out at the gym, riding her bike with friends, and meeting up with her family on weekends.

Teresa

Business Administrator

Originally from West Virginia, Teresa has been an integral part of Dr. Delaune’s team for 31 years and has earned the title of jack-of-all-trades around the office. She has an accounting degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and is officially our Business Administrator, making sure our great team has all they need to provide excellent service to our patients. Teresa says she loves communicating with patients on a personal level when they come in for their dental visits.

Outside of the office, Teresa is a devoted wife, mother of three, and “Mamere” to her grandchildren. She is also an avid investor and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends and her golden retriever “Buddy”.
